Alan Moore's Writing For Comics Volume 1

Writing for Comics, Vol. 1 - Alan Moore, Jacen Burrows Moore provides comforting commentary and several of his works and the process involved in their creation for aspiring writers of comics or literature in general. There's a lot in here that reminds me of Stephen King's no bs take on the writing process and a lot that's completely different. Moore presents a structure and a process to begin before actually putting pen to paper (a process he urges the reader to ignore in his afterword, written 15 years later). I think though, for people just beginning the writing process, knowing that there's a process can be a comforting starting off point before learning the skills necessary to become more individualistic.
